Is Fiberglass Exposure a Carcinogenic Risk to Humans?

This report investigates the carcinogenic risk of fiberglass exposure to humans. It assesses the carcinogenic risk of fiberglass, also known as glass wool, as distinguished from RCF, textile fibers, rock wool, and slag wool. The report provides a description of fiberglass, a summary of information about the carcinogenicity of fiberglass, and reviews of toxicology studies performed with animals and epidemiological studies of workers at fiberglass manufacturing plants.
