This report presents the results of case studies that monitored worker exposures to airborne lead during residential remodeling activities. Researchers conducted air lead monitoring during five site visits where workers performed various residential remodeling activities that distributed lead-based paint. All jobs represented different types of residential repair and remodeling work rather than intentional abatement of lead-based paint. The report contains a description of the work performed, test results, sampling and analytical procedures, and conclusions for each site visit.
