This guide provides designers and contractors with information on the thermal design of exterior walls for buildings that use cold-formed steel framing members. The guide includes selection of wall insulation and a thermal zone map. The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) developed this thermal design guide with guidance from the AISI Residential Advisory Group.
