Plumber's Installation Handbook

This handbook provides plumbers and other interested persons with a single publication that describes plastic pipe products and many of the generally accepted installation practices for plastic pipe and fittings currently being utilized in the United States. It describes the installation of most common plastic piping materials, such as Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC), Cross-linked Polyethylene (PEX), Polyethylene (PE), and PEX-Aluminum Composite Piping (PEX-AL-PEX). Applications ranging from drain waste and vent (DWV), cold water service, hot water service, storm sewers, and sanitary drains. Installers are provided basic information on fitting systems, joining methods, routing, and cutting.
