Weingarten House: Rappahannock County, VA
One and one-half story house on concrete slab foundation. Eight-inch thick TerraBrick (soil-cement brick, dry-stacked, and interlocking) bearing walls with between two- and four-inch exterior, soy-based foam board insulation, and exterior stucco finish. Low-e, double-pane windows and insulated doors. Heating and cooling provided by a geothermal heat pump, with radiant floor distribution system for both heating and cooling.
