This report compares the seasonal performance of the passive radon-resistant features in 22 new single family homes. This was accomplished by conducting opposite season radon tests in new single family homes previously tested for the New Home Evaluation Program (HEP) in 1992 and 1993. Most homes were located in counties having a Zone 1 radon potential according to the EPA Map of Radon Zones.
