At ToolBase.org (the "Site"), a website operated as part of the ToolBase Services suite of services provided by the NAHB Research Center, Inc., we respect your right to privacy and will protect it when you visit our Site in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy. The following summarizes how we collect and use personally identifiable information through your interaction with our Site.

Due to the Internet's rapidly evolving nature, we may need to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If so, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on our Site located at www.toolbase.org so you are always aware of what personally identifiable information we may collect and how we may use this information. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes. Your continued use of this Site and/or continued provision of personally identifiable information to us will be subject to the terms of the then-current Privacy Policy.

Throughout this Site, you will find contact information (including e-mail addresses) for specific NAHB Research Center employees or departments. Should you send any correspondence to such e-mail addresses, your e-mail address will be used only to respond to your information request and to improve the content and general administration of our Site. If you submit a question to any “ask the expert” service provided in conjunction with the Site, we will use your personally identifiable information that you submit to respond to your inquiry.

Should you sign up for any of our electronic mailing lists, you may be required to provide us with your name, email address and other contact information. We will use this information to send you the information that you have requested and you will receive only the type of information you requested. You will not be added to other lists. We also may use this information to improve the content and general administration of our Site.

At certain pages of our Site (e.g., in connection with testimonials or surveys), we request that you provide contact information (e.g., name, address, e-mail address and phone number) to enable us to contact you, if need be, regarding your communications. We may also use this information to process your requests, and to improve our program and service offerings, as well as the content and general administration of our Site. Additionally, we may post your testimonial about various products and services for other users of the Site to view, but no personally identifiable information will be included in your posted testimonial.

If you request that we send certain information to a friend, such as an article, we may ask you to submit your friend’s email address and we will only use such email address to send the requested information, but we reserve the right to review any comments that you request to be sent with such information.
