Newsletter Sponsorships
Hotlines and newsletters have proven to be cost-effective tools for
disseminating information on a wide range of home building technologies, while
providing value to trade association membership. Sponsorship of these
media supports the development of new printed and/or electronic newsletters and
hotlines that focus on a particular industry, audience, or topic related to
residential home building technologies. Two types of partnerships are
available:

Custom Newsletter: NAHB Research Center staff will
author regularly-distributed or one-time newsletters, which sponsor partners
may disseminate through their own channels. Research Center professionals
will create newsletter size, format, and content either in entirety, or in
concert with sponsors.

Special Edition ToolBase Newsletter: One-time
newsletters will focus on a topic of the sponsor partner’s choice. NAHB
Research Center staff will prepare the articles, with input from the
partner. Sponsors will be acknowledged with a substantially-sized logo
and message section. Each newsletter will be distributed through NAHB
home builder associations to approximately 85,000 builders nationwide.
Telephone and email hotlines provide sponsor partners direct access to the
building scientists at the NAHB Research Center. The NAHB Research Center’s
technical expertise and reputation for objectivity ensure that the information
provided will be technically sound and accurate.
Utilizing ToolBase resources for hotline operation and/or newsletter creation is
an efficient way for associations to meet members’ information needs. It also
adds value to association to association memberships without also adding
otherwise substantial human resources and communications equipment costs.
